Some group shots during the weekend.

Playing Mexican Train Dominoes

Everyone meandering around before dinner.

Monty taking a whiff of Benee's sauce for the pasta.

Paula and Jerry in the kitchen. See all the healthy food that we ate all weekend. Yummy!!
On the golf course

Paula taking a swing. Check out those muscles in her legs - impressive. I love her pony-tail. She should be in a shampoo commercial.

Monty strutting his stuff. Do you see the ball?

A unique pair of trees on the course.

Here are some pictures of the sunflower that is growing from a seed that fell from our bird feeder. We think that it's beautiful...and that we couldn't have grown it on purpose if our lives depended on it. Still, we're taking credit for it.

Marcy, Don and I drove up to Estes Park, CO which is the home of the famous Stanley Hotel. This is the hotel that was used in the movie The Shining with Jack Nicholson. As most of you know, I'm a true horror fan and being in this hotel was fantastic. As you can see, it's a gorgeous hotel and the woodwork inside is very impressive. I wasn't supposed to but I sneaked up the stairs to see the famous room 217 and the halls that Danny rode his big wheeler down. It was fun being there.

While we were visiting Marcy in Colorado, Don and I went for a drive in Rocky Mountain National Park. We stopped several times and hiked a little off the road for some spectacular views. Yes, that is snow behind us and yes, it was chilly.

We drove up Trail Ridge road in the Rocky Mountain National Park and spotted some elk. Here are some of those pictures.

Look carefully - Wendy is looking at an elk.
